The Science and Innovation Awards. The Science and Innovation Awards 2021, hosted by ABARES encourages young people who are actively engaged within the agriculture, fishery and forestry sector to apply for up to $22,000 of funding for their original and innovative project that will contribute to the ongoing success and sustainability of Australia’s primary industries. Since the awards were launched in 2001, the Science and Innovation Awards have helped 261 young researchers, innovators and scientists turn their ideas into reality with just over $4 million in grant funding.
