The Miller Center Investment Readiness Accelerator is a globally recognised program designed for leaders of mission-driven social enterprises seeking to scale their proven impact models. Based in Silicon Valley, this accelerator aids in developing credible, investable plans to expand your business and its impact. The program focuses on social enterprises working towards women’s economic empowerment and/or climate resilience.
With a proven curriculum and exceptional executive mentors and leadership coaches, the accelerator assists in identifying and addressing gaps and opportunities in your business, thereby facilitating the creation of an actionable plan for organisational growth.
The effectiveness of the accelerator is evident in its outcomes, with 100% of participants leaving with a robust plan for scaling, and graduates have doubled their impact within three years post-accelerator. Furthermore, 9 out of 10 graduating social entrepreneurs report a significant increase in their confidence to fundraise, with graduates increasing their investment raised by 50% within three years post-program.
To be eligible, applicants must be a senior leader fluent in English with consistent internet access and the ability to commit 4-6 hours per week for the program’s six-month duration. Organisations must demonstrate a commitment to creating positive benefits for people living in poverty, addressing one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and supporting women’s economic empowerment, climate resilience, or both. They should also be committed to scaling their solution beyond current operations, have been operational for at least a year, have at least $20,000 USD in annual earned income, have at least three paid, full-time employees (or equivalent), and at least 3 months of cash runway.
