What could your students do with $20? The answer might surprise you! $20 Boss is a nationwide in-school entrepreneurship program for primary and secondary school students. Students are provided with $20 of start-up capital to create, launch and operate a business venture over the course of a school term.
The $20 Boss program is about putting skills development at the forefront of learning. The program toolkit includes comprehensive lesson materials, a variety of tasks and activities, teacher notes, assessment and monitoring tools, as well as advice and inspiration to enrich enterprise learning.
Developed by the Foundation for Young Australians in consultation with students and educators, the $20 Boss program is the largest entrepreneurship program in Australia. In the past four years over 30,000 students across Australia from over 500 schools have participated in the program.
