Building Victoria’s digital workforce

The Victorian Government’s $63.8 million Digital Jobs program is building a talent pool of professionals who can meet the growing need for digital expertise in the state.

By upskilling mid-career Victorians and supporting them to transition into digital careers, we’re backing them to succeed.

Digital Jobs delivers value to both Victorians and businesses, creating opportunities for newly trained digital talent and their employers to help drive Victoria’s economic growth.

Up to 5,000 Victorians over the age of 30 will complete the program by June 2024.

The Digital Jobs program consists of:

• 12-weeks of free training in an industry-endorsed course with a leading training provider
• 7 one-on-one mentoring sessions (3 with a qualified career coach, 1 with a resume consultant, and 3 with a technical mentor)
• 6 online employability webinars
• 9-months access to the InternMatch platform to apply for work placement opportunities (noting you can only undertake one work placement through the Digital Jobs program)
• Access to a library of resources to help you on your career journey, including pre-recorded webinars, self-help guides, and other useful links.

Please note that applying for work placements is a competitive process. While they aim for all program participants to secure a work placement, there is no guarantee that you will be offered one
