Building a pool of funding to support strategic advocacy responses to the pandemic in Australia.
Coronavirus and our efforts to contain it will have dramatic policy implications that will affect every one of us.
As Australians grapple with the impacts of the pandemic on their lives we are seeing outpourings of community spirit and concern. This energy is ready to be channelled into creative and innovative action to transform our society, protect vulnerable communities and look after one another.
That’s why Australian Progress, together with Australian Communities Foundation and other partners, are launching COVID-19 Rapid Advocacy Fund, a donor pool that can rapidly inject funds into strategic advocacy campaigns responding to the pandemic in Australia.

During the pandemic, Australia needs bold advocacy projects.
Use this form to pitch your project, and you will be contacted. The COVID-19 Rapid Advocacy Fund is looking for advocacy campaigns that will fight to put communities at the heart of the response to the pandemic, and have a clear plan to create real-world impacts.
They are currently speaking with a number of generous individuals and foundations, and are hoping to launch a rapid funding program as soon as possible (late March).
A formal grant process will be announced once more funding has been confirmed. This site will be regularly updated with more information over coming weeks, but the pandemic is moving fast and we need to as well.
