Bass Coast Shire Council Quick Response Grants

Date/Deadline: 30 Sep, 2022

The Community Grants Program provides funding to support not-for-profit organisations based in Bass Coast to deliver projects that benefit the Bass Coast community.

The objectives of the grant program align with the strategies in the Council Plan 2017-2021 and the Climate Change Action Plan 2020-2030.

The funding pool for 2021/22 is $294,000 and has been split into two grant streams:

1. $40,000 has been allocated to a Quick Response Grant funding stream which is assessed monthly and offers funding up to $1,000.
2. $254,000 has been allocated to the Community Grants funding stream with $127,000 applied to each round in March and August. It offers funding from $1,000 to $5,000 with an opportunity to apply for one of three major projects up to $10,000 per round

Purpose

The Quick Response Grants have been established to assist eligible organisations who require small amounts of funding throughout the year to support:

• unforeseen expenses or urgent issues
• to take advantage of an unexpected opportunity
• to support the establishment of a new group / program.
