A three month Clean Energy Accelerator Program in Sydney, Australia that is uniquely designed to support Australian startups that have fully developed solutions, have established product market fit, and are ready for commercialization. The program is supported by Artesian’s Clean Energy Seed Fund to invest in scalable, high growth startups, encouraging innovation and creating opportunities in the development of clean technology.
They’re looking for the next generation of Clean Energy startups across Energy Efficiency Technologies, Electrical Grid Innovations, and Renewable Energy Solutions specifically designed for the Australian Market.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year and startups will be admitted to the program on a rolling basis. This format will allow for a more tailored curriculum and hands on support designed around the unique needs of each startup.
$260,000* AUD in exchange for equity of your startup at a priced round OR following your most recent convertible note
*The offer is a combination of Cash ($150,000) and Value Added Support ($110,000).
As investors, they will also secure the rights for follow on once you have showcased traction. Follow on check sizes can range between $200,000 to $1 Million AUD. Teams that reach Series A can expect that Brinc will play an active role to lead.
In addition to providing funding, the program will focus on facilitating opportunities with Australian Energy Companies to help scope and secure commercial pilots / POCs while also helping to support each startup’s growth efforts locally and internationally. Startups participating in the program can also leverage Brinc’s Services Division in China for any supply chain, manufacturing and sourcing needs associated with pilot or order fulfillment.
They are interested in technology with the potential to address Australia’s pressing energy efficiency, optimization and emission challenges for industrial applications. As such, examples of challenges they are targeting for this program include Electrical Efficiency Technologies, Energy Grid Innovations, and Renewable Energy Solutions.
– Startups that have developed a product that fits within one of the Clean Energy investment verticals
– Must have finalized design and validated product features (working product or stage where we can help get this to market in a reasonable amount of time)
– Must be incorporated and based in Australia
– Must be looking to deploy their product / solution in the Australian market
– At least 2 co-founders with relevant industry experience
– Scalable business model with high growth potential
