Every year, All Good Ventures supports social entrepreneurs to start social enterprises. Specifically, ones that will use profits to bring freedom to people in need.

The social entrepreneurs All Good Ventures support come from all over the world. Wherever they’re based, they all have one thing in common; a financially sustainable social enterprise idea that will see profits poured into freedom for people who desperately need it.

Freedom for those in need can take many forms. It might look like access to clean water, healthcare or education; delivery from child slavery; or perhaps work opportunities for the unemployed, just to name a few examples.

Money

An initial injection of seed funding to kickstart your business idea, typically ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 (NZD). The seed funding offered is a gift, not a loan. You don’t need to pay it back. Simply use the money for the intended purpose of starting your social enterprise, and work with one a All Good Ventures business mentor to help ensure the gift is used wisely.

Mentoring

A dedicated business mentor that supports you to complete a minimum one year-long business mentoring programme. Mentors are successful businesspeople that know how to develop and implement a business plan, form successful partnerships, build and manage great teams, and more.

Muscle

Support with small to medium-sized jobs that crop up in your first year of business. Ones you’re not resourced to manage or carry out on your own. When you’re starting a social enterprise, there’s a million jobs to do. These include but are not limited to research, finance and accounting, photography and videography, marketing, public relations, and funding applications. All Good Ventures alleviates some of the stress these jobs can create by reaching out to their extensive personal and social networks to ask for the hands, feet, brains, brawn, and support to get the jobs you need done, done.
