The Barayamal Accelerator is looking for the 5 most innovative Indigenous businesses in Australia to give a funding total of $50,000!
The five innovative Indigenous businesses will receive a funding total of $50,000 in grants with all participants also receiving free coworking space, mentoring and training from industry experts at the Victorian Innovation Hub, Goods Shed North.
The Barayamal Accelerator incorporates a competition model to select our innovative Indigenous businesses. Indigenous entrepreneurs submit an application for the Barayamal Accelerator program, which is reviewed and shortlisted, with the most innovative Indigenous businesses in Australia then pitching for one of the five spots available. At the end of this pitch competition, only five Indigenous startups are invited to participate in the Barayamal Accelerator.
Funded by LaunchVic and supported by our corporate partners, the Barayamal Accelerator will rapidly accelerator the growth of the Indigenous businesses by providing capital, mentoring and industry support over three months then showcase their success at the culminating Demo Day on the 27 November.
Barayamal’s Accelerator is completely free, thanks to LaunchVic. It exists to show the world that Indigenous entrepreneurs exist, like Black Swans, and they can also build successful businesses too.
