The call for MAKERS is now open for the 2019 TOM: Melbourne Makeathon at FAB9 on the 24-26th of May.
They are seeking Makers (problem solvers, tinkerers, hobbyists, innovators – including engineers, designers, software developers, doctors, OT’s, allied health professionals) to take part in a 3 day Marathon of Making assistive technology for people with disabilities.
Makers will be placed in small teams and connected with Need-Knowers (individuals living a disability, support workers, family members, OT’s etc) who will present their challenge. Teams will be tasked with delivering a solution (prototype) by the end of the 3 days. All solutions will be available in the public domain on the TOM web platform for anyone to access and download around the world. Dedicate 3 days of your time, passion and energy to make a real difference in the world!
