Humanitarian Affairs Asia and the Government of Malaysia, are organising the 10th University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Kuala Lumpur from the 1st – 7th of August, 2019. It will gather more than 1,000 individuals from over 100 countries around the world.
They are looking for young leaders who:
1. are passionate about social change.
2. are an active global citizen.
3. are well-versed in current affairs and appreciate cultural diversity
The USLS is a unique international opportunity giving delegates the means to network, share and work with like-minded youth and young professionals from over 100 countries who are proactively driven to pursue humanitarian work, desire to be a change-maker in the wake of pressing global issues and assist communities towards a more equitable and sustainable future.
Delegates will have the opportunity to give back to the Malaysian community on the Service Learning Day, and learn from the many inspirational and thought-provoking speakers including Chris Temple – Documentary Filmmaker & Co-Founder Living on One, and Professor Tan Eng Chye – President of the National University of Singapore. In past USLS, they have had representations from numerous globally recognised institutions, including Harvard University, Oxford University, Tokyo University, and Fudan University.
