1000 x 1000: Crisis Cash for Artists

A group of Champion Companies in the performing arts led by Theatre Network Australia and facilitated by Creative Partnerships Australia through the Australian Cultural Fund has been actively fundraising to provide emergency financial relief to artists in need. Our goal is for 1000 donors to each contribute $1000, allowing us to support 1000 artists!

2021 UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education

On International Women’s Day, UNESCO launches the call for nominations for the 2021 UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education. The Prize awards US$ 50,000 annually to two laureates making outstanding efforts in favour of girls’ and women’s education.

Artist’s Benevolent Fund

The renewed Artists’ Benevolent Fund hopes to provide modest but useful one-off financial assistance to Australian visual artists in crisis as a result of fire, flood, storm, serious illness, major accident, declared state or national emergencies, or some other unexpected catastrophic experience.

Arts and Culture Professional Development Grants Program

A strong and vibrant arts and cultural sector is integral to the health and well-being of our communities. It will underpin the economic recovery of the Territory, achieved through providing opportunities to grow the creative and cultural economy, encourage artistic excellence and achievement and community participation in arts and culture.

Arts & Cultural Quick Response Grants

Through the Arts & Cultural Quick Response Grants, the City will rapidly provide up to $5,000 in funding to activities and projects that support the arts and cultural sector to emerge from COVID-19 stronger than ever.

Assistance for Affected Regions, Communities and Industries

The Government has set aside an initial $1 billion allocation to support those regions and communities that have been disproportionately affected by the economic impacts of the Coronavirus, including those heavily reliant on industries such as tourism, agriculture and eduaction.

Backing Business Investment (BBI)

A time limited 15 month investment incentive to support business investment and economic growth over the short term, by accelerating depreciation deductions. This applies to eligible assets acquired from 12 March 2020 and first used or installed by 30 June 2021.

City of Fremantle Neighbourhood Quick Response Grants

City of Stirling Community Creativity Fund

The Community Creativity Fund has been developed as part of the City of Stirling's Economic Stimulus and Community Recovery package in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is aimed at invigorating our local art and cultural industries. Funding will be allocated to projects which support these industries and/or create opportunities for the wider City of Stirling community to connect and engage with the arts and culture.

City of Stirling Community Groups Assistance Fund

The Community Groups Assistance Fund has been developed as part of the City of Stirling Economic Stimulus and Community Recovery package in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is aimed at invigorating localised community capacity building programs and/or providing activation of the four Community Hub locations as well as local community centres.

Community Led Grants

Under the IAS, the NIAA considers grant proposals that address a need for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Proposals must be developed with the community or group who will be impacted by the activity.

COVID-19: Ad credits for Google Ads Small and Medium-sized Businesses

Google want to help alleviate some of the cost for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to stay in touch with their customers during this challenging time. That’s why they’re giving our SMBs worldwide $340 million in ad credits, which can be used at any point until the end of 2020 across our Google Ads platforms.

COVID-19 Aged Care Support Program

The COVID-19 Aged Care Support Program will reimburse residential aged care, National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program (NATSIFACP) and home care providers for eligible expenditure incurred whilst managing the direct impact of COVID-19 on either residents, staff or care recipients of the provider.

COVID-19 Arts Sustainability Fund

The Arts Sustainability Fund supports the arts and entertainment sector to continue its activities by providing necessary finance to plan a pathway for recovery from the effects of COVID?19. Funding will support employment and contribute to rebuilding Australia’s economy, as well as enhancing community wellbeing and access to cultural experiences across Australia.

COVID-19 Emergency Fund for Journalist

As COVID-19 continues to evolve and impact communities around the globe, the National Geographic Society is launching an emergency fund for journalists all over the world who wish to cover COVID-19 within their own communities.

COVID-19 Emergency Relief Funding

St.George Foundation is providing emergency payments of up to $5000 for approved charities who are experiencing immediate funding pressures as a result of COVID-19.

Covid 19 Emergency Relief Vouchers Grants Program

Covid-19 Emergency Relief Vouchers support charities already providing material aid in Darebin, Moreland and Yarra with vouchers at local businesses so that families and individuals can access food and other essentials.

COVID-19 International Tourism Adaptation Grant

The $5 million COVID-19 International Tourism Adaptation Grant program is a key element of the Queensland Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help accelerate the State’s recovery from COVID-19.

Covid 19 Rapid Response Fund Grants Program

The Covid-19 Rapid Response Fund grant program will provide up to $1,500 for projects that directly respond to the impacts of Covid-19. All applicant organisations must be open and inclusive, actively engaged in community activity, and be significantly comprised of people who live, work, volunteer or study in Darebin, Moreland and Yarra.

COVID-19 Small Business Funding Program

The Ipswich City Council Small Business Funding Program has been extended for another round (Round 2) to continue the financial support for Ipswich based small businesses through and post the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 Support: Fee-Free Courses

Household Relief Loans Without Interest

Household Relief Loans Without Interest for anyone impacted by COVID-19 are available now. In collaboration with the Australian Government, they're providing no interest loans of up to $3,000 towards rent and utilities, repayable over 24 months.

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO) has announced the nomination requirements, the Jury’s composition and evaluation of nomination files for 200,000 US dollar-worth ICESCO Prize for Fighting Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Impact Investing Australia Resilience Grant

Many impact organisations are experiencing financial stress as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and are seeking external capacity building services to create opportunities for, and participation in, the social impact investing market. In response, we are pleased to launch Impact Investing Australia’s Resilience Grant, funded by the Department of Social Services’ Sector Readiness Fund.

Maroondah City Council Community Grants Funding Program

This scheme offers assistance up to $5,000 to incorporated, not for profit groups to develop programs, projects and events that enhance community wellbeing and increase participation. This scheme also offers assistance to not-for-profit incorporated organisations with a focus on community recovery arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

MIT Solve: Health Security & Pandemics Challenge

The MIT Solve community is looking for technology-based solutions that protect all people—especially those most underserved and at risk because of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, or income—from the impacts of disease outbreaks.

National Geographic Society COVID-19 Science Fund

In response to worldwide disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Geographic Society is providing funding for projects focused on how humanity and the natural world have reacted to and are living through the unparalleled circumstances created by COVID-19 in order to better understand how this pandemic—or the threat of another—will shape our world for years to come. Proposed projects should seek to better understand and/or provide solutions to the situations created or magnified by the pandemic, thereby helping us to understand and address the challenges and changes of living in a COVID-19 world.

Nature-Based Tourism Co-investment Fund

The Nature-based Tourism Co-investment Fund is a pilot grant program designed to assist eligible businesses and organisations to partner with the South Australian Government to deliver sustainable, quality tourism experiences in South Australia.

Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund

The RISE Fund is supporting the arts and entertainment sector to reactivate. The program is targeting funding towards the arts and entertainment sector organisations who are seeking to restart, re-imagine or create new activities. The program is intended to assist by providing finance to assist the presentation of new or re-shaped cultural and creative activities and events.

Small Business COVID-19 Adaption Grant Program Round 2

The objective of this program is to support small businesses subject to closure or highly impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) shutdown restrictions announced by the Queensland Government, to adapt and sustain their operations, and build resilience.
