Alfresco Outdoor Dining Grant

The Alfresco Restart Package supports food, beverage, entertainment, arts, and cultural businesses to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and enjoy a COVID safe summer 2021. It's now easier for councils and businesses to offer outdoor dining.

Assistance for Affected Regions, Communities and Industries

The Government has set aside an initial $1 billion allocation to support those regions and communities that have been disproportionately affected by the economic impacts of the Coronavirus, including those heavily reliant on industries such as tourism, agriculture and eduaction.

Community Events Quick Response Grants

Council has approved additional commitments in the 2021-2022 budget for COVID-19 support initiatives. This includes funding of $90,000 that is now available for Community Events Quick Response Grants to support the recovery of the events industry.

COVID-19 Support: Fee-Free Courses

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TAFE NSW, in conjunction with the NSW Government, is offering a number of fee-free* short courses that can be completed in just days or weeks, offering practical skills and experiences across a range of industries.

Household Relief Loans Without Interest

Household Relief Loans Without Interest for anyone impacted by COVID-19 are available now. In collaboration with the Australian Government, they're providing no interest loans of up to $3,000 towards rent and utilities, repayable over 24 months.

R&D Fund

The R&D Fund supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and scaleups to commercialise products that address the health, social or economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sunshine Coast Regional Council’s Emergency Grants

Sunshine Coast Emergency Grants are for not-for-profit community organisations to apply for up to $3,000 to fund projects that have arisen as a consequence of failure, damage or loss of essential equipment or infrastructure due to unforeseen circumstances.

Sustain 2021-2022 Recovery Fund

Sustain 2021-2022 Recovery Fund aims to support Queensland based applicants delivering major arts and cultural activities who are significantly impacted by COVID-19 restrictions and as a result are facing material employment losses, insolvency or going concern issues which has led to a depletion of available cash reserves the organisations keep on hand to service short term and long term operational needs.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund: COVID-19 Fund

The world has been shocked by the devastating effects of COVID-19. COVID-19 is placing an enormous medical and financial burden on the music community and Sweet Relief are actively taking steps to provide assistance where it’s needed most. Due to massive cancellations, artists are struggling to find the means to make ends meet during these unprecedented times.

Tourism Business Innovation Grants

The Tourism Business Innovation Grants fund aims to maximise benefits from increased tourism, through the provision of seed funding to new and innovative tourism business ideas in Buloke.

Volant Trust’s Covid-19 Response Fund

The Volant Trust is accepting applications from charities in the UK and internationally that demonstrate a strong focus on alleviating social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been particularly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
